Schema update or no?

I've restored an older database (backed up when the app was previous
version) for a test. I had to run admin tools and answer yes to the
"run mandatory conversions" question. No schema change was required in
my case (9.05.602a SQL -> .603), but you can run it and see if it has
work to do.

When we first setup E9, we were on 9.05.601b. We made a virgin DB at the

time. We have since upgraded to 9.05.604a. When we setup 601b, we made a

backup of the DB. IF i was going to restore to that version of the DB,
do i
need to run a schema update as well?

…. I have never tried to downgrade unless I am misunderstanding you.

If you are restoring the backup you made in 601b and you plan to let it upgrade to 604 you will not need to run a schema update. However you will need to run conversion.
