Okay all the gurus out there. I have extended the RMA detail table with the Epicor standard character, date, number and shortchar fields. I’ve added a text field to the RMA Detail sheet so the user can add some additional information on that form. Is there a way that I can add availability to search on that field? What’s the best way for an end user to use that field in a search?
You can add it to quick search fairly easily. Need to add your UD fields to the search BAQ.
You can also add it to Enterprise Search, though I think you need the Advanced ES license now to add fields.
Thanks @TerryR , I was looking at the search BAQ. Yes, Enterprise search would be a great option but, to your point, I think you need the Advanced ES.
Appreciate your reply.
@jbryant My license shows basic ES, but I followed this KB to add an index with my UD fields. I copied an ES BAQ and added my fields to it and it looks good so far.

Thanks @gpayne. I’ll take a look and see if I have the same results. I appreciate the help!
Here’s the big question: how to do this as a public cloud customer!
I imagine that you’ll have to file a ticket with the name of the BAQ that you want to add to ES. If that’s not correct, I’m sure they’ll let you know!
Thanks @Mark_Wonsil
