Searching the newsgroup archive

If at all possible, I would love to have a copy of that PST file
off-list, too!

Thank you,

Darryl Whitelock

Hey everyone,
Is anyone else having trouble searching the newsgroup archive on
Yahoo?
I seem to remember this problem was mentioned in the newsgroup
previously, but I am unable to effectively search the archive to
locate whether there was any solution or workaround. The search
results seem to be hit-or-miss and seem to only include very recent
posts.

Any light shedded is much appreciated,

Darryl Whitelock
Dinn Brothers, Inc.
...please excuse my poor grammar in the previous post. "Any light
shed..." would have been much more appropriate.

(what was I thinking?)

I ran into this issue several months past.
The search archive function is just this side of useless.

The good news is you can scroll through almost 36,000 messages and find what your looking for!
At one message a second (I'm assuming we're all pros here) it will only take you about 10 hours to search the entire archive.

Good Luck

Chris,

What can I say ... Yahoo Groups is a great email relay but beyond that ...
it leaves a little bit to be desired.

If they offered a premium service that fixed stuff like this I'd suggest we
all chip in and upgrade but to the best of my knowledge what you see is what
you get.

Anyone know any different?
