Selecting records in BAQ and/or Dashboard

Call in and reference my Call Number: 3079448ESC

I think this is the same issue you are referring to. They provided a patch to fix the issue. I got the patch back on 11/30/2012.

I will agree with Jose, but be careful. We are on 9.05.700C and a display filter with a calculated field in it will give us erroneous results. We upgraded several weeks ago from 9.05.603 to 9.05.700C and are having to remove these filters to make BAQ's work.

We have a support call in on this and it is a known bug for this level.

We then move the filter to the dashboard or report level as a work around.

Hi:
Is there a way either in a BAQ or resulting dashboard to select records from a calculated field? e.g. I need to monitor parts on hand that have no associated cost. The calculatd field then is from the part table: Avg labor + Burden + materials + subcontract=Total part cost. I need the BAQ/Dashboard to siplay only those parts with the Total Calculated part cost at 0.
Just add a Filter on your Dashboard to look at the Calc Field..

Thanks for the input!

I did attempt that and believe I got the erroneous results Brad mentions.
Without the filter, I could see some of the $0 cost items I was looking for
simply by sorting the column. But when I added the filter to remove the
items with cost > $0, the grid went blank.
