Self Billing

Ian, I think the approach with the separate warehouse will work
and may even have some advantages to you. The controller in me
would make sure the bank, insurance, and contracts (PO's) were all in order
and I would try to put some time limit after which the goods would be
billed for even if not used. Depending on the $$$ I'd visit them once
in a while........(the customer is always right...right).

Mike,
Basically self billing means we have to deliver goods without any invoices
and when they then use the parts whether 1 or all of them they raise and
their own invoice which they then pay. This could result in parts that were
sent taking a long time before they get paid for. we have thought about
setting up a separate warehouse putting the parts there and then raising the
shipping notes when they inform us of what they have used but any other
suggestions (other than dumping the customer, which may still be an option
!) would be appreciated.
Regards
Ian

Dear All,
One of our Customers has insisted that we go to self billing and we are
unsure how to tackle this within Vantage. Does anyone out there currently do
self billing and if so how do you deal with it within Vantage.
Many Thanks
Ian
