Thanks again for the fix. Does anyone know if it is possible to add a
drop down box containing "Contacts" data when emailing from the File -
Send - Record by Email dialog box?

for
the user logged in and then exit and restart Vantage.

Thanks for the reply. We have all of this installed and configured, it
is the menu option being "grayed" out that has us stumped. We have the
email server in the Company set up and the mfgsys file also contains the
settings.

Yes exactly. I checked Ross's suggestion and I already had email

I tried that as well with no success, good thought though. Do I need to
re-start the server, I wouldn't think so.

My apologies you were correct. I checked the user info in the work force
table by mistake. Once I added ith email to the user table it enabled
the menu option. I get an SMTP error now but I can work through that.

So, when you bring a screen and then go to File, Send, the Work list

Thanks for the reply. We have all of this installed and configured, it
is the menu option being "grayed" out that has us stumped. We have the
email server in the Company set up and the mfgsys file also contains the
settings.

I a trying to test sending a record or work list via email. All my
menu's have these "grayed out" so I cannot select them. Did we miss
something in the installation or configuration. I called support and was
on hold forever before they put me in voice mail......

I am using Ver 9 but I believe Ver 8 had this ability.
