Position Title: Director of Finance

Reports to: President

Qualifications: 7-10 years related financial experience
and management experience, minimum Bachelor's degree, familiarity with
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), knowledge of strategic
and tactical application of ERP software



Job Description

Directs all company financial activity including: reporting, record
keeping, accounting practices, payroll, A/P, A/R, taxes and credit.
Analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve
systems and financial performance. Hires, trains and manages accounting
staff. Maintains relationships and collaborates with outside financial
services companies (i.e. bankers, accountants, auditors, insurance
company, investment etc.). Manage other financial and management
activities as assigned.



Education

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related business
field



Experience

7-10 years related financial experience and management experience
(including 5-7 years working in a manufacturing facility), familiarity
with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), knowledge of
strategic and tactical application of ERP software and application of
cost accounting principles.



Training

Attend Epicor seminars to familiarize self with "VANTAGE" ERP software
functions, one-on-one meetings with other managers and business
ownership, meetings as needed with company accounting firm, bank and key
vendors/service providers, payroll company, etc.



Skills and Essential Functions:

- Produce required records in a timely and accurate manner as
required

- Implement continuous financial audit and control systems to
monitor company performance, cash flow, adherence to the budget,
expenditures, income, the cost of sales and other financial items.

- Ensure compliance of company activities with federal, state and
local tax laws in its areas of operation

- Coordinate budgetary process

- Organize prepare and present an annual budget, financial plans,
feasibility studies, investment studies and all other financial and
business documents as required

- Evaluate the hardware/software environment for the effective
computerization of above activities and items

- Maintain company legal records

- Administer personnel, payroll and medical records with accuracy
and confidentiality

- Provide for the security of all company assets through adequate
internal controls and insurance
