There are two Kanban jobs created for the same part.
Both jobs are tied to the same Serial Number, which is an error. Normally, one serial number should belong to only one job.
- Job #34515 is the correct job and should keep Serial Number SN54691.
- Job #34516 is the incorrect job, as it is also linked to the same serial number.
The part in Job #34516 was consumed into another job, but Serial Number SN54691 is already linked to the product from that job, which caused a mismatch.
We want to reverse Job #34516 and put the components back into stock. However, how can we get around the Serial Number assignment? Since the part number is linked to it, I don’t want the Serial Number assigned to the correct Kanban to be impacted.
