Serial Numbers on Po's

I was informed by epicor that Subcontractor Packing Slip is the way to go. I just completely forgot about it. When I tried it it did everything that we need. That is the way we will be sending out Subcontract from now on. Thanks for all the info

I would like to have the assigned serial numbers to the part that I am shipping out to a subcontractor for processing be shown on the Purchase Order. Serial numbers are assigned to the job and the finished goods part number. I thought that having the sn's assigned that they would print on the PO. am i missing something?
nope you are going to have to modify that Crystal to do so.

The mechanism that attaches the SNs to the outgoing shipment is the Subcontract Shipment Entry program. This will not attach the SNs to the PO, but will print them on Subcontract Shipper Pack Slip.

And you can mod that crystal to be your PO. I've seen that done as well

But I have to agree with Ernie that the Subcontractor Packer is the
document that should be used for the outgoing shipment. While the PO is
the preferred document of many of my customers, the SubPack is the
proper document because it has all of the information as to what is
being shipped and when. The PO is a higher level pricing commitment
document that is a plan document vs. an actual document.
