After another completely reasonable two-year break, Jose Gomez and Bryan DeRuvo return for the Season 3 premiere of the EpiUsers Podcast!

In this special episode, the guys celebrate 10 years of EpiUsers, look back at how a small community project grew into a thriving ecosystem of more than 11,000 Epicor users, and share some of their favorite stories from the journey. From the origins of the old Yahoo Group to the infamous “Most Likes” incident, it’s a fun trip down memory lane.

They also recap Epicor Insights 2026, including Bryan’s Manufacturing Champion Award, the EpiUsers 10-Year Anniversary Event, community award winners, and some of the most talked-about sessions from the conference.

Of course, no Insights recap would be complete without talking about AI. You know for a bit there, I was enamored with how professional this was. You guys sounded like professionals and old hats.

Then I remembered this was the age of AI, and it probably wasn’t you.

Before the Yahoo!Groups, the system used an “email reflector”. You would email the site, and it would distribute it to every subscribed user. This was entirely done through email and no user interface existed except to subscribe and unsubscribe. Here’s a message from @Patrick Winter a long, long time ago:
