Server OS feasibility for EPICOR 9.05.701 - rEG

Hi Experts,

We are seeking your guidance regarding the operating system upgrade for our APP and DB servers.

Currently, we have EPICOR APP Server and DB Server installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. Since this operating system has reached end of support, we are planning to upgrade to Windows Server 2022 Standard or Windows Server 2025 Standard.

Could you kindly advise whether the E9 software will function properly on these newer server versions? Additionally, please share which latest version of Windows Server is officially supported for E9 software.

Your valuable input will help us plan the upgrade effectively.

Since it’s an older version I would reach out to Epicor Support to see what they say. If it were me, I would stand up a sandbox environment with the new windows server version, install E9 test.
