Server out of memory when print previewing custom crystal report

We did have this issue. When we switched from V8 to E9. Reports created for V8, when ran, got this error in E9. The .rpt files were around 5MB due to images. I reduced the image sizes and they worked.

It did rear its ugly head a few weeks back but the user logged out and back in and it started working.

Thinking back I think someone said there was a parameter in Progress which can be altered to a higer figure, but ours was already set on the recommended figure.

Â
Charlie,

We are not...

We have a RAID 1 & 10 volumes in the server, with plenty of free space.

We also have 16GB of memory, with an average of 8GB free.

I am wondering if it's a Progress virtual memory issue????

I think I have gotten this when I have used an array and the array ran
out
of room. By chance are you using an array?

Has anyone experienced this?

If so, how do you handle it...

Thanks!
