I have noticed in the last few months an increase in the number of posts on Service Connect issues. It seems there are a lot of newbies trying to make it work and a few folks around who have more depth of experience.

Is anyone interested in participating in a webex session to show off or discuss projects they've done that might be of interest to the group? Also, this would be an opportunity to ask "How do you ...?" I would be willing to host a webex session for this purpose.

I have recently completed a second round of custom training from Epicor and feel I've learned enough to begin building useful workflows. However with each workflow, I find there is another technique I need to learn in order to satisfy the requirements of the new project. Learning from the group really helps fill in the blanks. Good participation in this event hopefully will build a more experienced community of developers

Please respond to the group to express interest, and also directly to me so I can keep track of who is interested. I'm thinking of doing something in the next couple of weeks.

I'll bite. I'm not using SC much at the moment, but I think I understand it fairly well and like to be helpful if I can.

Jim,
Though I would have nothing to offer, I would love to attend. Look up "newbie" in the dictionary, and you will see my face. this would be an enormous help, and much appreciated!

Count me in as a lurker if you put together a webex...
I couldn't make the April 9th UG meeting at Hoss's :o)

I have done some things in SC. 8.3 has nicer features than 8.1 did when I first started and had to write my own custom dll file for flat file conversion....

Maybe you could record the session also for the people that can not attend and also for review for us slow learners.

I'm interested in participating as well. I still have an extraordinary
amount left to learn on SC. I've developed a number of small data
conversions or update flows. The only other two I have made of any
significance are one for order entry from a customer flat file, and
another to integrate some 3rd party laser nesting software (track parts
by nest, and update material to be backflushed based on actual material
used. Id be willing to share those if anyone is interested.

I'm trying to do a Kanban receipt through service connect. But for whatever reason, I got errors and cannot make that thing to work.
