How about this approach? Use a conditional functoid as you suggest,

setting its default condition to Number01 (e.g.

/msg/req/dta/ GetByIDResponse/ result/PartDataS et/PartSubs/ Number01) -

just link it on the left to the default value if the checkbox isn't

checked.

Add an alternative whose condition expression is Checkbox01 (e.g.

/msg:msg/msg: req/msg:dta/ ext_GetByIDRespo nse:GetByIDRespo
nse/ext_GetByID

Response:result/ PartDataSet/ Part/Checkbox01) and whose value
expression

is Number02 (e.g.

/msg:msg/msg: req/msg:dta/ ext_GetByIDRespo nse:GetByIDRespo
nse/ext_GetByID

Response:result/ PartDataSet/ Part/Number02) . Map the result of that

expression to your target field.

I think that will do what you want.

Your mileage may vary.

Subject: [Vantage] Service Connect Condition

I wrote a SC workflow that I need to have number01 be mapped to another

field if checkbox01=true otherwise I need number02 to be mapped to that

field. I am not really sure if a condition functoid in service connect

can

do what I want or not. I was hoping to be able to do this in my mapping

process and not using the condition statement in the main workflow

designer.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I would tackle this? Thanks,

Daniel

Well, if you don't want to do it in the XML mapper of the conversion,
them have a choice activity feed 2 different conversions depending on
outcome of testing the checkbox value
