Service Connect Error

Does anyone know what causes this error? Or does anyone know if there is a knowledge base somewhere for Service Connect?

Any Service Connect Gurus? I have gone live from 803.305l to 803.407C
But I am getting this error:

Unexpected exception occurred while calling web service : Client found
response content type of 'text/html; charset=utf-8', but expected
'text/xml'

Anyone seen this before?

If you access the web service from a browser does it return what you expect? I'd try removing them completely and reading them, or renaming the virtual directory, making a new one, etc. in IIS.

Joel,

If I recall correctly, when you upgrade you need to re-install your web services.

Get into your WS-Config .NET tool found in C:\epicor\mfgsys803\WebServices

Select your Site at the top (should be "VantageServices".

On the bottom left you'll see "Installed Items"

Click on the checkbox that says "Reinstall All" and click Update Site button.

Wait 10 seconds and they should be reinstalled.

Give it a shot.
