Thanks to Peter and Blake for their help I was able to use the get rows function. Turns out you need to get rows at the orderhed level and I was doing it at the orderdtl level.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried it numerous ways, with and without quotes. Double quotes, single quotes. No quotes at all even on the company. I am completely stumped.

I have what I'm hoping to be a simple question. I am trying to get the
details on a sales order. I am using the WhereClauseOrderDtl function and I
have created a concatenate statement that simply reads: OrderNum = '7122'
and Company = 'CJ-GER'

For some reason this doesn't seem to work and it keeps giving me the
taxconnectstatus table instead. So I'm guess there is a problem with my
concatenate statement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on what table you are getting rows on, usually the key fields
to the table. Use a functoid that works for what you are trying to do.
Concatenate usually works well when you have multiple parameters you are
searching on. Ill send you a screen shot of one I have in use.

Do you get any specific error?

Workflows provided with Epicor use GetRows a lot.
For numeric fields they don't use quotes, for string fields - single quotes.

Concatenation functoids used for it, params like this:

str1 = ShipToNum = '
str2 = msg/req/.... (this param is ampped from the left schema)
str3 = '


Do you have standard workflows in your Epicor package? Say, EDI workflows.

Peter,

The concatenate functoid example that you used below is similar to what I'm using, so I think mine must be correct. I don't get any errors, however, no data is being returned. My workflow first does the get rows then it is supposed to call a sub workflow. The sub workflow is called but nothing happens because no data was returned to cycle on.

I don't think we have any standard workflows, and we don't use EDI.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried it numerous ways, with and without quotes. Double quotes, single quotes. No quotes at all even on the company. I am completely stumped.

Hello Service Connect Guru's!

I have what I'm hoping to be a simple question. I am trying to get the
details on a sales order. I am using the WhereClauseOrderDtl function and I
have created a concatenate statement that simply reads: OrderNum = '7122'
and Company = 'CJ-GER'

For some reason this doesn't seem to work and it keeps giving me the
taxconnectstatus table instead. So I'm guess there is a problem with my
concatenate statement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Service Connect Guru's!

I have what I'm hoping to be a simple question. I am trying to get the
details on a sales order. I am using the WhereClauseOrderDtl function and I
have created a concatenate statement that simply reads: OrderNum = '7122'
and Company = 'CJ-GER'

For some reason this doesn't seem to work and it keeps giving me the
taxconnectstatus table instead. So I'm guess there is a problem with my
concatenate statement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Peter and Blake for their help I was able to use the get rows function. Turns out you need to get rows at the orderhed level and I was doing it at the orderdtl level.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried it numerous ways, with and without quotes. Double quotes, single quotes. No quotes at all even on the company. I am completely stumped.

Any other ideas?

Well, I'm not a Service Connect Guru but I'm guessing that you shouldn't
have Quotes around the OrderNum. It's not a string.
