Blake,

This maybe isn't the answer you're looking for, but is a workaround:

1. In your Service Connect workflow, set the field to "DELETE".

2. Set up a BPM with a condition of field = DELETE, and an action to
set the field to "".

It may not be the "by the book" way of dealing with it, but you'll have
it
fixed in 10 minutes.

I've gotten that clear to work in the past, but I remember it was a
pain.
It's probably been two years, so I don't recall exactly how I did it.

HTH,

Kevin

I've tried [Clear=SearchWord] or [Clear=colSearchWord] or
Clear=SearchWord... none of them worked.

Make sure you clear the field and in the RowMod use [Clear=colName]
where colName is the field you want to clear out - you can clear
multiple columns by using a comma after each colName - I do believe the
braces are required....

All you Service Connect gurus out there... I have an issue that I can't
seem to get past but should be absolutely very easy to figure out. I
want to remove the value in the "SearchWord" character field in Part
Master. What do I have to do to program SC to do this... so far all I
can get is for the word delete to show up instead of just an empty box.
Do I have to set the RowMod value to delete or d???
