We just recently purchased the full blown Service Connect. Is anyone
else using the full version SC? I am finding it to be a quite complex
and powerful program. Epicor doesn't have allot of examples on using
this. I have the Service Connect User Guide but it jumps around allot
and assumes you know things. I am looking for some docs on a
step-by-step how-to for SC and setting up and using workflows. Maybe
there is some documentation on the Epicor site that I am overlooking,
but if anyone has something I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Toby....We purchased full SC to interface our already-existing (and,
much more powerful than what Epicor offers) EDI Translator (Gentran
from Sterling Commerce). After taking Epicor's 5-day class (which was
VERY good , by the way, but still can't possibly prepare you for using
it 'for real'), we still had to contract with the same Epicor rep that
taught my class, spending almost $30K, to get our SC workflows built
and tested. I'm much more 'educated' now, & between our experiences
and those of another company here in Ohio, we've managed to put this
VERY capable (but, a bit difficult, Russian-written) program to
strategic use.

Basically, if you really took enough time, I think you could almost
completely rewrite the entire Vantage user-interface with Service
Connect ! It's that powerful....

Sincerely,
- Gary -
