# Set User Defined Field via In-Transaction BPM

I created a new UD Field in the UserComp table and now I'm trying to reset the value within the CurPlant based on the value of my new SiteDefault_c UD Field.

Is there some trick to using UD fields with In-Transaction BPM data directives? 

I'm able to select the field from the Set Field dialog box, but I get the following error -->  'UserCompTempRow' does not contain a definition for 'SiteDefault_c' and no extension method 'SiteDefault_c' accepting a first argument of type 'UserCompTemRow' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I got caught out on this one….try and use the context of the following as an example,

foreach( var row in ttLaborDtl)

{

 

    if(row.UDField<decimal>(“Number01”) > 0)

    {    

    row.UDField<string>(“Character01”) = "xxx";

    }

 

}
