I'm trying to improve the performance of my Progress database (we are running Vantage 406A) and I was told that creating a separate report app server would help. It seems that when BAQ's run they take up a lot of system resources. Database buffer hits are close to 100% so I think the database app server is set up OK. Has anyone created a report app server and if so could you point me in the right direction on how to create it?
