Just inquiring if anyone has ever set up an elimination company and what their experience with it was like. We have two companies currently, one parent and one subsidiary. We have elimination entries due to sales and other expenses between divisions in the parent and sales and other expenses between the parent and sub.

So, no I have not, and this is not my strong suit (but it’s getting there…), but are you wanting to do book consolidation?
We don’t do this here, but I did test it out in 2019 as we prepared to bring in another division into Epicor.
We pay for the “multiple books” module, and I imagine you need that, if you don’t have it already.
The Multi-site technical reference does a good job explaining it (preview below). Also they do a walkthrough in the “Consolidation Scenario” section at the end.
