Setting up mail

Easiest solution is to setup a local SMTP server on your network, and then
setup forwarding through your externally based email system.

You mostly just need to make sure you have the connection settings for your
external server system, and also make sure that the account you send through
does not have any limits associated with it. It helps to make contact with
hosting service to let them know the account which will be sending the mail
so the uptick in emails being sent out from that account doesn't get it
flagged as a spam source.

Subject: [Vantage] setting up mail

I have been trying to find a work around for the email notifications. We
use an external non-exchange based email system. Anyone have anything they
have successfully set up to allow this.

thank you,

Adam
