Setup of hardware

Yes it is very greasy and dirty on the shop floor and I thought of
using these. We are not using Citrix. I have a static VPN tunnel to
the server and therefore thought of using thin clients with a icon
for connection. I have several people here that are not pc literate
and the less they have access to and can play with the better.
Thanks for your reply. I have called Epiocre and also done an online
chat to make sure Vantage would have no issues with this and could
find no-one that could help me. My rep - did not know what thin
clients were and I was at a loss of what hardware to even start with.

Thanks

We are about to start using Vantage at my plant and will be doing RDT
to a server outside the country. The pc's are no issue. Is anyone
tried thin clients to do this? I am think about using them for the mfg
shop floor. Opinions?
oops - typing to fast
We will be using RDP....
Thin clients for the shop floor are very logical, particularly if your
shop has a dirty atmosphere. They work just as well in the office. If
your shop is open 24 hours each day and you use Citrix their are some
issues with Citrix which have nothing to do with Vantage - Monte
