Shared Tracker Across Multiple BAQs in Application Studio (Kinetic 2025.2.4)

Hi EpiUsers Support,

I’m working in Epicor Kinetic 2025.2.4 and have built a dashboard in Application Studio that includes six separate BAQ cards:

  • BOXING
  • CLEANROOM_ASSEMBLY
  • INSPECTION
  • KITTING
  • QUALITY_CERTS
  • SUBCONTRACT

Each card is tied to a different BAQ, and I want to implement a shared tracker at the top of the dashboard that allows users to search by Job Number and/or Part Number.

My goal is that when a user enters a Job Number or Part Number:

  • All six BAQ cards should refresh based on the input.
  • Each card should either:
    • Highlight the matching row(s) within the grid, or
    • Filter to show only the matching rows.

I’ve already created the tracker view and linked it to the dashboard, but I’m looking for guidance on:

  1. Best practices for passing tracker values to all six BAQs.
  2. How to implement conditional formatting to highlight matching rows.
  3. Whether it’s better to filter the grids or highlight matches for usability.
  4. Any performance considerations when refreshing multiple BAQs simultaneously.

If you have documentation, examples, or tips for setting this up efficiently, I’d greatly appreciate it!
