Let me try to explain better. We wish to add a button within Job
Tracker to allow us to access our master part files stored in Excel.
We save these files in groups starting with the first two numbers,
then the first four numbers, and finaly the actual part number (ex.
2900\2932\2932r6).
The command for our button was the shellexec Excel T:\File path.
Can anyone help us with a command that we could use in our file path
with our part number 2932r6 and provide the first two numbers (29),
then the first four numbers (2932)?
I believe the substring(2932r6,1,2) will provide us with 29, but when
trying in Vantage in our Shellexec line it does not work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pleae feel free to email my
