We have similar problems because we have different lot numbers for the same
item on a sales order, thus requiring multiple lines on Customer Shipments.
Our fix for this problem is to change the Crystal Report for the packing
slip to combine all items for the same purchase order line into one line on
the packing slip. We used the customer PO line because of some instances,
especially with PO amendments, where the customer adds another line for the
same part number as a previous line.
This solution has worked well for us over the last two years.

Only fix is to transfer the items to one bin or a bin call, "Shipping Dept
Floor" and ship from that location one transaction, I have parts that are
in
pallet boxes one per bin location and I can ship 8 to 15 of those at once.
Makes for a nice three page packing slip that no one can under stand.

Subject: [Vantage] Shipping from multiple bins
Am I missing something??? When I try to ship from inventory, and I
need to pull the same product from 2 or more bins, I have to enter a
seperate line item for each bin? And then the backorder qty. is
repeated for each line? So then, my customer receives a packing slip
with the same item listed the same amount of times that I had to pull
from that many bins?

Any help?
