Shipping labels

hello

can you clarify what you mean by modification to the report?? What
report are you talking about? What do you mean you created a VB
field for the number of parts/box it displays??? what is this you
are showing me anyways.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Does anyone know how you can make crystal reports 8.5 or Vantage6.1
to control the amount of shipping labels being printed.

this is my scenario
one part label with Qty: 10

I would like to have with the same report have copies of 10 which
displays Qty: 1.

-->Qty10
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1

So if i have an item which was known to have more that 1, the report
prints that many labels plus the total amount. Can anyone suggest
steps to take in Crystal Reports 8.5 or Vantage 6.1 to resolve this
issue??

Any help would be gladly appreciated
Hello Baker?

I thought the required label qty was based of the number of packages
field on the line detail screen. I made minor modifications to the
report long ago that creating multiple labels with the box number
sequencing
IIRC I created a VB field for the number of parts per box it displays
like this

Not certain if that's what your after?

Does anyone know how you can make crystal reports 8.5 or Vantage6.1
to control the amount of shipping labels being printed.

this is my scenario
one part label with Qty: 10

I would like to have with the same report have copies of 10 which
displays Qty: 1.

-->Qty10
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1

So if i have an item which was known to have more that 1, the report
prints that many labels plus the total amount. Can anyone suggest
steps to take in Crystal Reports 8.5 or Vantage 6.1 to resolve this
issue??

Any help would be gladly appreciated

Hello Dan,

I'm not sure what you mean, did you mean you wrote a Visual Basic
Program to be able for the printer to allow printing of the same
label but with some changes to its data fields??? Like the 1 below:
If so you have manage to fix this can you point me to the right
direction as to how I can go about it?
-->Qty10
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1
Qty1

Thank you for you time and consideration.
