Shop Warning Email Failures - Continued

I'm still trying to get the "Shop Warning" email notifications working,
and I'm still not having any luck. Global Alerts work perfectly (with
their manually-entered email-addresses), but it looks like when the
"Shop Warning" routine runs, it's not pulling the email-address data
from the "Person" record associated with the "Alert Group" to which the
warning is supposed to be sent.

I keep seeing this kind of language in the online help:
"Name is the person's name. In order for alerts or shop warning to
automatically be sent to a person, the person's e-mail name must be
identical to the name set up for the person in the system."

Can anyone explain that to me? Which names must be identical? The name
inside the "Person" record and the name on the "User" account? The
unique "Person Person ID" and their Vantage "User ID?" The name on the
"Person" record and the display-name within Active Directory/Exchange?

I do very much appreciate anyone's input or thoughts...

Thanks again.

...just thinking out loud...

The name might be the name defined to send the Shop Warning to. It
might need to be equal to a user name already defined in the
database. It might use the email field in the user account setup.
