We have been running Since 1999 on SBS 4.5 on a Dell 2600 Poweredge server
dual 500 processors, 1.5 gig of ram, raid 5, approx 20 clients. I have
nothing to benchmark it against, as it is the only server we have run
Vantage on. I have tuned the database according to Epicors recommendations.
I have never really noticed any serious performance issues, but that's
pretty subjective. I hope to upgrade the LAN shortly to run Vantage 6.0 on a
new server running SBS 2003.

Anyone with NT Small Business Server:

Looking to find out what program is behind the short cut: Auto Dial
Configuration

Start | Programs | MS Proxy Server | Auto Dial Configuration

Don't have the lovely button option to click. Need to find the program
manually.

If the shortcut is located above the dividing line in your Start menu, then
you'll want to right click the Start button and click "Explore", double
click Programs, double click MS Proxy Server, right-click Auto Dial
Configuration, click Properties, click the Shortcut tab - that'll tell you
where it's pointing.

If, on the other hand, the shortcut is located below the dividing line in
the Start menu, substitute "Explore All Users" for "Explore" then follow
along with the remaining instructions.

Regarding the link for Auto Dial Configuration off the MS Proxy Server
group...

I need to find the program. I don't have the lovely shortcut.
Former administrators removed it as security?
