We have been running Since 1999 on SBS 4.5 on a Dell 2600 Poweredge server
dual 500 processors, 1.5 gig of ram, raid 5, approx 20 clients. I have
nothing to benchmark it against, as it is the only server we have run
Vantage on. I have tuned the database according to Epicors recommendations.
I have never really noticed any serious performance issues, but that's
pretty subjective. I hope to upgrade the LAN shortly to run Vantage 6.0 on a
new server running SBS 2003.

I am currently testing Vantage on a SBS 2000 server. It's and old server and
I am not happy with the performance. I will be buying a new server.
We have only 4 users in Vantage and I would like to avoid running a separate
server for mail and file sharing etc. Is anyone running Vantage on a SBS
server? Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Abe Klassen
