A question about solution file. Can a solution file can be installed on the same environment second time without doing any cleanup before the second install?

Hi Ben,
I have done this many times. It lets you know during install if it is copying over existing customization, baq, etc. whatever, again. I believe it provides option to not copy over.
I don’t think you’d need to do any cleanup to replace a “something” with a newer same named version.

Thank you very much. I clicked “yes” for replacing existing definitions when it asked. Install completed, but the related report doesn’t work. It is because I chosen “replacing …?”.

Is it an SSRS report? Do you have the custom report on the SSRS server? I’m not sure about solutions with SSRS reports, I don’t think I’ve done this and don’t know whether it brings the SSRS report over to the server.
