*Solution*Shipments from multiple bins = multiple lines on invoice

I modified our Crystal Invoice form to group by part number and
eliminated the invoice line number field.

We are now shipping from multiple bins with no transfers required!!

Does anyone ship the same part from multiple bins on the same shipment?

If so, how do you handle the invoice printing the same part on
different lines?

Does anyone have a Crystal form that combines the same parts to a
single line?

What we do is transfer all the material into one bin location (ours is
HOLD, for example) to alleviate shipping FG5854's from 4 different
locations. We had a lot of customers complaining about the multiple
shipments and billing lines for one part. There is probably a better
suggestion from elsewhere in the group though on how to handle this, I'm
sure.

Let me rephrase that a bit. For example, if we need to ship some
FG5854's, and will have to take it for several bins, we transfer the
quantity we need to HOLD, then ship only from that one bin location.

We do the same but we just call it a "SHP" bin.
