It was definitely there in 2025.2.7 and all previous Kinetic releases. I used it a lot to test things out that hook into things my Live/Non-Prod aren’t set up for.
Is it missing for anyone else?
Did Epicor remove it on purpose? https://centralusdtedu00.edpicorsaas.com/SaaS950 doesn’t seem to have it, I checked in two companies. Can anyone else that has Education take a look? Especially if you are in another environment.
Grumbles in wanting it back
It’s still there on the menu where it should be, and adding a menu item for it manually still gets filtered out. So, it seems a purposeful change. I wonder why?
The only mention in release notes since 2025.2.7 for SWB is this: 2025.2.10: Solution Workbench only import layer to current company instead of all companies
yeah its the parent submenu item of solution workbench thats missing. I added the sub-menu item with the same menuid and the solbench items were all there beneath.
Well, I actually did (CS0005296708), but when I told them the reason it wasn’t working was the missing menu, and that it worked after I manually added it back, they closed the case. I considered not accepting it, but you only have so much bandwidth for pushback and I wanted to save it for something more important. lol
