I posted what is below as a reply but thought I should bring it up as a topic in case anyone else is beating their head against the wall trying to figure out why they can’t build any solutions in 2025.2.4. I asked for clarification if there was anything I could change on my solution to make it work and they stated, “Solution workbench is unusable until the next patch.”
Is Solution Workbench what most people use to export their customizations that are fixed and rebuilt in Test? I feel like rebuilding everything again once you upgrade Live is a waste of time. But for Epicor to break it an not have a hotfix tells me its not really a priority tool, or they don’t plan on anyone actually upgrading to it lol.
I’d say it is a critical tool and neatly ties together entire solutions, as opposed to individual exports per entity, or recreation in the case of UD fields. The Kinetic version is facing tons of issues, especially in the “Tools” category.
I hate to constantly sound critical of Epicor - I absolutely love the software and do not like the comparative products… I just wish better for the state of Kinetic.
