Some users able to modify attachments while others cannot

I have noticed that issue and changed it to make sure it goes through IE. No dice with that alone though.

I have seen the same issue with not Epicor related SharePoint. In my case the difference is the browser... The browser will allow for modifications with Internet Explorer (I have version 10) and will download a file when using Chrome.
So maybe setting the pc to use internet explorer (IE) as default browser might fix your problem.

I cannot figure out why!

We are using SharePoint. When some users double click on an attachment in a sales order it opens in edit mode, but for others it downloads a local copy and thus doesn't allow for changes. I think this is something more to do with SharePoint and computer settings than an Epicor thing directly.

Anyone else figure this one out?
