Sonic doesn't seem to be doing much unless we stop and restart it

We are able to get the Multi-company Journal Entries to post
from the parent company to the child company, but only if we
manually stop Sonic and restart it.

Anyone have good documentation on Sonic 6.0 or a suggestion?
