I am look for a Vantage Southern California User Group. If you know of one please let me know.
I was told the Southern California Users Group "wasn't very active" and
am attending meetings outside of California. However, it would be great
if we had an active group- there are a lot of vantage users in Southern
Ca.

One of the biggest problems is finding someone willing to
administer... Epicor is willing to help us make contact with other
users, but finding a local chairman for it is difficult.

(I'm just as bad- I'm not volunteering, either...)

Southern California Manufacturing Epicor Users Group
Meeting Minutes (excerpt)

Date: 03-18-2009
Start Time: 3:10 pm Finish Time: 6:30 pm
Attendees: 21 Users from 13 companies and 6 Epicor representatives were in
attendance
Notetaker: Cassandra Nicholson, SureFire, LLC

HOUSEKEEPING
Users agreed to meet at least quarterly for a half day in the afternoon.
The format of future meetings will include at least one user presentation.
Meeting options were discussed, including video conferencing, audio
recording, dinner meetings and alternative locations. The users requested
the discussion be deferred until such time as they can see how the meetings
progress.

Jennifer Curlee, SureFire, LLC, took an action item to provide an email
questionnaire for users to provide preferences prior to the next meeting.

A list of topics was circulated for users to sign up for presentations.

Lindsay Norton encouraged users to express any business interests even if it
is unrelated to Vantage, such as Lean Manufacturing, Crystal Reports, etc.
Epicor would be more than happy to provide the network with companies, who
are willing to provide company tours and or share their own Crystal Reports,
etc.

Nominations were received for Regional Leader: Mike Lowe, Connor
Manufacturing Services; and for Notetaker : Katrina Bitner, Klune
Industries (or a colleague at Klune.) It was suggested that there be
multiple people for each position, who can alternate responsibilities from
one meeting to the next.
