Is Progress "broken" ? Why "fix" it ?! With the exception of the rev 9
issues earlier this year, hasn't it been a stable platform? MS sure isn't
know for stability or performance. The whole MS migration sounds like
something designed to appeal to potential new customers, rather than
Epicor's existing customer base.
About the only good that might come from it is adding table security, or
allowing data updates via ODBC or other tools. But they could do that with
Progress as it stands.
