yes, i'm aware of all the changes required on the dB and the separate code set for the applications.
the dump and reload in SQL can become very complicated with the number of indexes,triggers, constraints and identity seeds on each table. in testing the process i used some of the existing code i can find from Epicor (create a new dB and Schema change) - the time to create the script for 1 table can be 10-15 minutes and we have 600-800 tables with content, so it is a very time consuming effort. I was hoping to hear if anyone went through this experience and had any words of wisdom
