SQL infrastructure sizing

Yea, sorry. That's too much for one box. You need segregation.
Service Connect and Vantage are OK on one box.

The modules I listed are the ones mostly likely we will implement. You
mention 64-bit hardware and 24GB RAM but not sure you suggest running
all the modules listed from the one SQL box.

Approximately 75 Epicor 9 users.

Will be implementing Epicor 9.05.6xxx on OpenEdge but it is clear as mud on the SQL horsepower needed for all of the add-ons. Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated on hardware requirements for an all in one (wouldn't think ideal)or best practices to slice and dice the load.

64-bit OS........ 24GB of ram minimum. Not sure how many users you have
and what "add ons" you purchased but that's a great starting place.
Hardware is cheap. Opt for the higher RPM drives.

Contact Ben Nixon at Epicor to turn your mud into water.

Agreed. You'll probably want a separate 32-bit box for some of these
pieces. I don't think Portal Server runs on 64-bit, for example.

And SonicMQ won't run on Server 2008.

Yes, second time I have mentioned this in just the past few minutes, anyone
guess what I ran into a problem with recently?
