So it's finally time to develop some sort of Vendor Management Score
Card here, curious, I looked into the system and it appears we own SRM..
haven't used much of it obviously. I see on the SRM tab in the Supplier
Maintenance Form it has ratings for on time etc.. Anyone out there
using this.. how do you go about evaluating and then subsequently rating
a supplier for on time, quality etc.. It seems straight forward to data
mine for receipts vs promise dates, supplier generated DMR's etc.. what
tools have you developed to augment this (they don't appear to exist,
unless I missed them) and how often do you re-evaluate a supplier on
each category, once a week, month, year? Has anyone successfully
automated this seemingly time consuming task ( we buy a lot of stuff
from a lot of people..)? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
