I am trying to customize our method master. I have attached a copy of what the report looked liked in Vista 8 and how it know looks in Epicor 10. In version 10 it does not show line breaks when printing off the report. Any suggestions on how to create line breaks would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue… SSRS may not understand how to handle the existing carriage returns.

You can try replacing CHR(13) wth VbCrLf.

Below a few sample expressions that worked for my comment fields in the Method Masters subreports (Operation.RDL and Material.RDL)

1. ) Material.RDL
1.a) textbox “txtMfgComment2”
– new expression: =Replace(Fields!MfgComment.Value,CHR(13),VbCrLf)
– Ref original : =IIF(Fields!MfgComment.Value \<\> “”,First(Fields!RptLiteralslblManComments.Value, “RptLabels”) &": “& Fields!MfgComment.Value
,”")

1.b) textbox “txtCommentPur2”
– new expression: =Replace(Fields!PurComment.Value,CHR(13),VbCrLf)
– Ref original : =IIF(Fields!PurComment.Value \<\> “”
,First(Fields!RptLiteralslblPurComments.Value, “RptLabels”) &": “& Fields!PurComment.Value
,”")

1. ) Operation.RDL
2.a) textbox “CommentText”
– new expression: =Replace(Fields!CommentText.Value,CHR(13),VbCrLf)
– Ref original : =IIF(Fields!CommentText.Value \<\> “”
,First(Fields!RptLiteralslblOperComments.Value, “RptLabels”) &": “& Fields!CommentText.Value
,”")
