SSRS Report Builder (Renaming UDF's)

Hello Everyone,

I am making some progress thanks to many of you with creating new Forms using SSRS. Now I need some assistance on how to rename a field I want to put on my form since many of the fields I have came from our old system the UDF’s have the same name and Report Builder wants unique names.

So what should be the proper way to put on my expression. I tried Character01 as Test and put Test as my field and that failed for me.

I would appreciate your assistance.

Are you asking about the expression in the rdl? If your field is listed in a dataset that is available in your rdl, then you can just reference the field using that dataset. What are your old user defined field names? Are those fields listed somewhere in your rdl Datasets? Show us.
