Standard Cost Replace

I was attempting a standard cost replace, but cannot load cost details
because I have that process running from an earlier attempt on Jan 25
08. I have tried from the system monitor to end or cancel; there it
says Cancelling Please Wait, but apparently does not cancel the
process. Has anyone seen this before? How do you end or cancel the
process that is still running?
We are getting ready to do our first "standard cost replace" in Vantage. We
have about 7,500 mfg part numbers. Does anyone have any experience running
this, so we might have an idea about how long it may take?

In version 4 you should have no trouble and it will probably take
around 15-30 minutes. In version 5 I have no idea on how long it
takes because it has a bug that prevents us from running it.
It is a major ordeal for us right now.
