Standard Cost Roll

We looked into using Material Burden but then dropped it because it was going to require us to manually update this cost field since we also run a standard cost environment. Didn't make much sense to me...but then what do I know.

I was wondering if anyone had processed a Cost Roll in Vantage 5.2
using Standard Costing? If so, do you have Material Burden and how

there is an enhancement request for this and they are taking it to
the forum to determine when this will be completed. Support is
telling me not to plan on it before August.....
Also, throughout the year we will not be updating our standards
unless they fall within a certain parameters. Has anyone created a
database to track changes or does anyone have suggestions on how to
track changes throughout the year?

I have a couple questions in regards to the Cost roll function in
Vantage. We are an Aircraft Manufacturing Company in a Standard Cost
environment. We are in the process of performing our first Standard
Cost Roll on Vantage 5.2 and I am trying to find out how other
Company's have handled a couple of the issues that we are seeing as
well how other Company's have tracked changes throughout the year.
It appears that the material burden does not calculate
automatically during a cost roll. Short of entering this information
manually, is Access/ODBC the only answer?
Any ideas on how to track the labor hour changes on the routers
since only $$'s pull into cost set?
Any ideas on how to track the Outside Processing cost changes?
