Starting/Stopping Appservers

My bad, I meant to say I only need to restart the TaskAgent and
ProcessServer. Thanks for the help!

You can restart the TaskAgent and ProcessServer without users
noticing. If you restart the main appserver you will cause users' to
lose their sessions, and unfortunately the client doesn't fail
gracefully. They get ugly error messages about 'Invalid Session', etc.

Is it ok to restart the appservers while users are logged in and working
in the database? I sorta remember doing this awhile back and getting a
bunch of errors after it was done. Just making sure before i cause
myself a headache....

Better tell everyone to get off first! Then log them off yourself if
they take forever...

Also always better to do this when most people are not in the system...
