Stock Aging Report using Bin Transfer date instead of receipt date

Hi,

Does anyone know why the Stock Aging Report uses the STK-STK date for inventory age, as opposed to the receipt date?

I noticed that the inventory age for some parts is getting overwritten if the stock is moved to another bin via Inventory Transfer.

Example:
Part ABC is purchased and we receive qty 10 on 1/1/2020 to Bin1.
Parts stay in Bin1 until 6/1/2023, when the full qty is moved from Bin1 to Bin2.
Running the Stock Aging Report shows that part ABC has qty 10 in Bin2 with a date of 6/1/2023 instead of 1/1/2020.

Is this how the Stock Aging Report is supposed to work?

I tried adding a new Stock Provision Format Code, but when I select “Aging” as the type, it greys out the transaction selection options.

Lot tracking would solve this, but our parts in this company are not lot tracked and I don’t think it’s feasible to implement at this point.
