Stock Status Report - filter by Part #

If it is a one off, create a part Class that is called "Temp"
Select your 30 parts, change the part class (keep a list so you can fix it later)
Run the report and put the class back to what is was.

Hello,

I've had a request to configure the stock status report to filter by part #. Is it possible to add filters to standard Vantage report options? Currently you can only filter by Part Class and\or plant. My other thought was to create a copy of the stock status report and then have this prompt the user for a part number - however, every single Part Number would have to be dumped out first which takes some time.....

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Michael

Vantage 8.03.406/Progress

If you are looking at only one part number wouldn't "Part Tracker" or
"Part On-Hand Status Dashboard" work?

You should be able to load those 30 parts into a UD table(or hard code
the 30 parts into the BAQ filter).

Write a BAQ to read the UD01 and link to the PartBin(other tables if
required).

Write a dashboard or a BAQR using the BAQ

Are they always the same 30 parts? Are they different classes?

You are better off writing a BAQ and BAQ Report.

The big feature of the regular stock status report is the "as of" date. If you just want the current snapshot, BAQ advanced search dashboard will work fine.

And I would use analysis code or one of the UD checkbox fields in part maintenance to flag the part rather than take up a UD table.
