Storing documents into sharepoint

Dean,
We have done a lot of work with SharePoint and Epicor/Vantage over the last 4 years
Did not like what Epicor had to offer and developed our own integration.
Depending on the level of automation you require, you may be better off with 905 as it has better support of .Net and Webparts as we found when trying to develop in 803.
Though we don't auto-generate the Epicor business form, we create a SP site for each of the business lines (Orders, PO, QuoteÂ…) and store all documentation there. In addition, you can easily create Webparts using Visual Studio (905) or Epicor's webparts with Epicor Poral and have Epicor information displayed on the SP side.
We also use APM and created another Webpart that pulls and links the APM data with the LOB entity you are on so users only need to go to SP and can view all documentation
You will need some SP talent and would recommend to wait (if possible) for 905

Hi,

We are looking for a method of filing purchase orders, sales order acknowledgements and sales invoices into sharepoint including populating the sharepoint metadata. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions they would be willing to share?

FYI we are using Vantage 8.03 and sharepoint 2010 both on SQL on separate servers.

Regards
Dean
Are you hoping to scan them in with barcode recognition?

Subject: [Vantage] storing documents into sharepoint

Hi,

We are looking for a method of filing purchase orders, sales order
acknowledgements and sales invoices into sharepoint including populating the
sharepoint metadata. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions they would
be willing to share?

FYI we are using Vantage 8.03 and sharepoint 2010 both on SQL on separate
servers.

Regards
Dean
