I have a question. I have sub-assemblies in sub-assemblies and Epicor multiplies the sub-sub-assembly rather than the sub-assembly. Meaning, if the main sub-assembly (TLA0001-00) is for 1 and the parent (GAME001-00) is for 60 that multiplies correctly. If the sub-sub-assembly (MTL0070-01) is 4 each that multiplies it correctly to (TLA0001-00) but the component (SMS0256-80) under that sub-assembly (MTL0070-01) is for 8 gets multiplied to the sub-assembly (MTL0070-01) of 4 instead of the main sub-assembly (TLA0001-00) of 1.
How can I correct that?
Here is how I have it in Epicor
TLA0001-00 1ea (60pcs)
MTL0070-01 4ea (240pcs)
SMS0256-80 8ea (s/b 480 but shows up as 1,920pcs (multiplies by 240 instead of 60)
That’s how it should be. It’s quantity per parent, not quantity per top assembly. You need 240 of MTL0070-01 which require 8 SMS0256-80 each, so that’s 1920
