I am trying to bottom out a way to receive subcontract POs to then generate the MFG-STK transaction via Material Queue, so that we can potentially complete the putaway process via the handheld devices.
Is this something any of you have managed to achieve? I am a bit stuck on what to try - I can easily do the PO receipt on the handheld, which generates the PUR-SUB transaction. Ideally I’d want to then systemise the MFG-STK transaction to the part primary location, rather than just autoreceiving.
Because of our internal put away process, we are trying to step away from auto receive if we can - for our mfg product, we are managing putaway transactions via the material queue, so the goods are only available in stock once scanned into their location via the handheld.
Might end up having to auto receive but would like to see if there’s any alternative!

Oh I misunderstood, you do NOT want to auto receive, you just want it to show up in the mtl queue for them to put away. So basically the opposite of the question I answered lol. More coffee.
Is your subcontract operation getting marked complete when you receive the purchase order?
Sometimes there just isn’t enough coffee especially on a Friday!!
Our subcon op is marked as complete once we’ve received the lines back in full, but just can’t (yet!) seem to get the process to cooperate the way I’d like it to, unfortunately! Thinking cap going back on…
